I am happy to welcome you at the website of the Moscow Summer School of the Peoples’ Friendship University of Russia. Although we started with Russian-language short-term courses only in summer 2011, we have experienced significant growth in our enrollment for summer studies. Our Moscow Summer School is on the course of developing into one of the leading summer study centers in Russia. This direction supports the general internationalization of the whole university.

As a sizable research university with strong international connections we are confident, that we can provide challenging academic studies combined with rewarding discussions with your professors and fellow students to all participants.

Your studies will be combined with an intense social programme and meetings with various professionals active in the field of your chosen programme. In the conditions of today’s global networks it is inevitable, that part of every individual’s university education is some international component obtained while studying in a different academic setting than one’s alma mater. Moscow Summer School can fulfill this requirement. You will also experience the challenges and achievements of Russia while studying and living in our beautiful country. Since you will be able to spend your time in different cities, you depart with a deeper knowledge of our culture and people.

As Russia is the biggest European country, it can serve as a model for the understanding of the diverse relationships of a country with long historic traditions to larger economic and political systems.
